FUNGI OF UKRAINE, RHYTISMATALES

PROPOLOMYCES Sherwood. Rhytismatales fam. incert. 1 Ukrainian species on various woody plants.

Propolomyces farinosus (Pers.) Sherwood Status. Native; 8 records since 26 October 1933. Months. June, July, September, October. Regions. Crimea, Kiev, Lviv, Zakarpatska. Habitat. Fagus sylvatica, Picea abies, Pinus sylvestris; on dead woody parts, including female conifer cones. Notes. Worldwide. Widespread and frequent in Europe and probably elsewhere on dead woody parts of many different plants. References. Johnston (1991) [description, illustration, as Propolomyces versicolor]; Minter & Dudka (1996) [Ukrainian records]; Morochovskii, Zerova, Lavitskaya & Smitskaya (1969) [Ukrainian records].
