Leaves widely lanceolate, 60-90 cm, width 15-20 cm; spine 2 mm wide at apex; tendrils 2-5 m; pedicels approximately 10 mm; flowers 3-3.5 cm, perianth tube 6-8 mm, segments 12 mm, filaments approximately 25 mm; capsule widely oblong; seeds 5-6 mm, width 5-6 mm. Species endemic to Pinar del Río and Havana, growing on cliff-sides.
