Bursera shaferi (Britt. & Wilson) Urb.

Small tree; bark reddish-brown peeling in strips; leaves lanceolate, 2-8 cm, widening at the base, rounded, acuminate, reticulate on both sides, dark green on upperside; petioles slim, 1-1.5 cm; inflorescence 1-1.5 cm long; drupes obovoid, 6.5-7 mm long, 5 mm wide.

Species endemic to Pinar del Río.
