Calophyllum antillanum Britt.

Tree up to 20 m, bole upright, cup cylindrical, bark dark, with deep fissures; leaves elliptic, 5-8 cm long, 3-5 cm wide; apex rounded; base obtuse or rounded, not elongated at the petiole; inflorescence axilliary, often also lateral where the branches have lost their leaves, 4-5 cm long, with 7-15 flowers; fruit globose, more or less 2 cm in diameter, yellow-green when mature.
