Herbaceous climber; leaves ovate to ovate-lanceolate, pointed at the apex, heart-shaped at the base, 4.5-10 cm, margin dentate, pubescent on both faces, reticulate on the underside; bract involucre ovate-deltoid, serrate, bright green; female calyx split into 6, segments linear, pectinate; capsule pubescent.

Common name: bejuco de perdiz.
