Hairless climber; leaves elliptic to oblong elliptic, 5-13 cm, obtuse to rounded at the apex, base decurrent at short petiole, margin entire or dentate, veins prominent on underside; calyx 5-6 mm, petals 6-8 mm; fruit including the 2 interior sepals, 7 mm.

Common names: bejuco colorado, bejuco guará.
