Stem and branches pubescent; leaves oval or elliptic-ovate, 3-8 cm, apex acuminate, base rounded or pointed, pubescent to hairless on veins; spikes 3-6 cm, pubescent; bracts linear-oblong, pointed, 7-8 mm; lobes of calyx linear-lanceolate, 12-13 mm, acuminate; corolla 3.5-4 cm, with oblong lobes of 1 cm; capsule elliptic, 12 mm, pubescent. Endemic species growing on calcareous soil.
