Myrica cerifera L.

Leaves completely or almost flat, elongated, oblong, or oblanceolate, commonly with some teeth, 2-8 cm, with many prominent glands, lateral veins slightly to not prominent on underside, petiole 3-10 mm; male catkins cylindrical; female catkins short, oblong; fruit globose, white, waxy, solitary or together in glomerules.

Common name: arraiján.
