Oxandra lanceolata (Sw.) Baill.

Tree sometimes as high as 15 m; leaves lanceolate to elliptic or ovate-lanceolate, length 3.5-9.5 cm, width 1.8-4 cm, pointed at the apex, pointed or rounded at the base, densely reticulate, hairless, with small translucent spots; petiole 1-2 mm; calyx of semiorbicular lobes; exterior petals obovate, 4-5 mm; berries dark red, ellipsoid, length 11-12.5 mm, width 7-9 mm, almost directly attached.

Common name: yaya.
