Sida spinosa L.

Climbing herbs, branching, annual, up to 60 cm, stems with fine stellate hairs; leaves up to 5 cm, ovate to oblong-lanceolate, apex pointed to obtuse, base truncated or almost heart-shaped, margin crenate, petiole of larger leaves often with a small tubercle in base; flowers axillary, pedicels shorter than petioles; calyx angular, lobes pointed, petals yellow; carpels 5, 2-pointed.

Common name: malva de caballo.
