Thrinax morrisii H. Wendland

Stem 1-11 m in height, 5-35 cm diameter; leaf sheath finely fibred; long petiole, 27-84 cm; leaf with 33-58 leaf surfaces, the central one 55-75 cm long, waxy-grey on the underside; infloresence arced, exceeding the leaves, with 9-21 primary branches; flowers and fruit suspended on very short stems less than 1 mm; fruit globous, 3.5-4.5(-8) mm diameter, white.

Common names: guano de sierra, miraguano.
