Urena lobata L.

Herb or bush 1-3 m, branches sometimes reddish, leaves broadly ovate to almost orbicular, mostly 4-10 cm, obtuse to pointed at apex, almost heart-shaped to obtuse at base, commonly slightly lobed or angular, dentate, with dense stellate tomentose hair, at least on underside; bracteoles 5-7 mm, calyx slightly shorter; petals pink, 2-3 times larger than calyx; mature carpels 6 mm, with stellate hirsute hair armed with many barbed spines.

Common names: guizazo, malva blanca.
