Tree 1-3 m, branches with stellate tomentose and hirsute hairs; leaves ovate to ovate-oblong, 7-12 cm, acuminate, rounded in the base, 5-nerved, hirsute on upperside, pubescent on underside, serrate; inflorescence 2-6 cm, villous, flowers white, hypanthium 3.5-4 mm, hirsute, sepals 2 mm, teeth 3 mm, petals obovate-oblong, ovary setose. Common name: cordobancillo peludo.
